wedding dinners

yest nite went to his campmate's wedding dinner... first time i had ever went to such occasions with my boyfriend... in the past was always... relatives' marriages... it was different last nite... well perhaps due to the fact that we were not seated at the priviledge table...

but the food was good... cheap talk amongst his campmates, who all seemed very much older then i was... okay i admit i'm young... but who cares?

then the couple appeared... the ger who was transformed into 2 pretty gowns... one the norm - white bridal, and the other a purple ballroom dress... though the whole image to me appeared rather "ah lian" and distasteful to me (my wedding will be much different! and i'm making comparison's now... geesh) i didn't comment to anyone abt it... its not my problem to... i'm juz there for the food...

so the 10 course dinner was set... if i can recall it was:
1) lobster, scallops, abalone cold dish
2) shark's fin soup (though i doubt it was real shark's fin)
3) roasted pig's skin and meat (alongst with a really big pig head to decorate it)
4) steamed fish
5) really yummy roast chicken
6) prawn rolls deep-fried
7) giant mushrooms with sea cucumber and yummy soft beancurd
8) noodles
9) orh-ni (a delightful yum paste dessert)
10) the one that i cannot recall... :x

all in all it was worth it... becoz i had left with a really full bloated tummy threatening to suffocated me and my darling was the one who "bao" the ang bao (red packet)... haha not me!

I still have upcoming wedding events... i tell u.. this dec month is insane... was contemplating probably this is an auspicious month or sporean couples like to make dec a month of relaxation after their year-long working committments...

12th i've another one at grand corpthone waterfront hotel (which is his poly friend's wedding) that i had begged him sooo sooo much to take me along with him... coz its my fav hotel!!! :D

19th its at marina mandarin (which is his client's wedding) his client is a girl... so i won't blabber on further... :x i'll go becoz i scared things are "dangerous" there! must control ur man sometimes u know?

short of bragging so much i wish all of u a happy dec hols! ya right.. okay so i'm bragging.. wedding dinners.. 10 course meals... at lush hotels... ahhh i love every min of it!
